Inés Villafañe-León
was born in Santiago, Chile. She received her master's degree as a Professor of English from the University of Chile, and earned another at the School of Education in Berkeley, California. Now living in northern California, she is the author of Viento del Sur (Wind from the South) and the bilingual book Un cuento para cada estacion (A Story for All Seasons).
