Camincha es de Miraflores, Lima, Perú. Obtuvo su M.A. en Literatura Española de San Francisco State University. Su nombre aparece en A Dictionary of American Poets and Fiction Writers. Ha publicado tres libros: Where I Come From, Where I Am Going/ De Donde Vengo, A Donde Voy (1992), Indecent Exposure/Exhibición Púdica (1993), Why Do I Think of Dead People at Poetry Readings? (1996). Sus poemas y relatos han sido incluidos en varias antologías y publicaciones como Kaleidoscope, ITCOP, Minotaur, Passager, Morena, Northwest Literary Forum, CUPS, Poetry USA, ZamBomba, Bryant Literary Review, Perceptions. Aparte de su vocación de escritora, profesionalmente es intérprete y traductora. Actualmente vive en California.
